Fandom Fluctuation

So my obsession with the MCU has cooled down. I still love the fandom and have a lot of emotions concerning the comics but the love for the movies has shrunk down from fevered enthusiasm to a more subdued interest. At the moment there is nothing new to take its place.
I binged Good Omens, found it utterly charming and will definitely step back into that fandom but I'm really curious which next big thing will capture me.

My love for all of it is not gone, but I feel a great sense of freedom? I really got swept up in all the frenzied marketing and in fandom emotions and now that's gone.
And since the whole tumblr changes I changed they way I interact with different parts of different fandoms. I really enjoy the slower pace of Dreamwidth, but I also miss the easy and low-spoon ways to interact through likes and reblogs. Here I need a lot more energy to build a fandom home and I don't always have enough spoons for that.
And that is a last factor for me. There are some bigger and some smaller changes in my life now. Aging can be a bit scary but also liberating. Lets just say that the fields of fucks I have to give get more and more barren.
